Pilot Terms
These terms apply to evaluation of the HVACReceptionist.com pilot. A participating HVAC business receives its final pilot scope, limits, and any approved charges in writing before live traffic is enabled.
Evaluation service
The pilot provides automated call handling, missed-call recovery, lead qualification, appointment requests, and human handoff for evaluation. Features and provider availability may change. The pilot does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
Business responsibilities
The participating business must provide accurate hours, service ZIP codes, escalation contacts, FAQs, and scheduling rules. It must have authority to use each connected number and must not submit unlawfully obtained information. The business remains responsible for dispatch, pricing, technician availability, licenses, warranties, and all HVAC work.
Emergency limitation
The service is not an emergency service and does not replace 911, fire services, a gas utility emergency line, or qualified responders. It does not diagnose hazardous conditions. Potential emergency requests are directed to appropriate emergency channels and human follow-up.
Messaging and acceptable use
Automated messages must relate to the caller's service request. The pilot may not be used for unsolicited bulk marketing, deception, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, abuse, or attempts to access another tenant's data. STOP requests must be honored.
Availability and fees
The pilot is provided for evaluation without a production uptime commitment. Provider outages, carrier filtering, number-registration delays, and automation errors may affect service. Automation may pause when safety, security, or cost limits are reached.
No automatic billing is enabled by default. Any phone number, voice, SMS, registration, hosting, or subscription charge must be disclosed and approved before it is incurred.
Data and ending a pilot
A business may request an export during the agreed pilot window. Data is then handled according to the published privacy notice and the applicable pilot agreement. Either side may end the pilot. Access may be suspended for security, abuse, unlawful use, or unexpected cost exposure.
